Barbed Wire Isolation Fence / ROAD BARRIERS
Barbed wire isolation fences are mainly divided into woven mesh isolation fences, barbed wire isolation fences, welded mesh isolation fences, etc., primarily used for isolation at highway boundaries to prevent pedestrians and animals from entering. The products are mainly treated with hot-dip galvanizing, plastic spraying, and plastic dipping for corrosion protection, offering excellent anti-aging, sun protection, and weather resistance properties and so on.
Barbed wire isolation fences are mainly used on highways, and are also applied in places like airports, railways, and stadiums, serving mainly as isolation and protection facilities.
The barbed wire of barbed wire isolation fences is generally composed of low-carbon steel wire. The strand wire uses 2 12# steel wires, and the barb wire uses 12# steel wire. The barb spacing is 100mm, each barb cluster has 4 barbs, the barb shape is straight and pointed, the barb length is 16±3mm, and the barb wire winding is 1.5 turns, which should be firmly twisted and have a uniform shape. The structure of the barbed wire isolation fence involves firmly tying a 120mm long 12# steel wire at the intersection of the barbed wire and the stay wire. When deploying the barbed wire, additional braces should be added to the posts at corners for reinforcement. Using hot-dip galvanizing/PVC coating anti-corrosion process, barbed wire isolation fences are widely used in scenarios such as highways, railways, airports, livestock farms, and fences.
Installation Steps and Technical Requirements for Barbed Wire Isolation Fences:
1. Measurement and Line Setting. Based on construction drawings and actual site conditions, pre-determined positions are marked, and an area no less than 30cm wide along the marked line is leveled to serve as the construction surface for installing barbed wire.
2. Foundation Excavation. After leveling the site, lay out the barbed wire foundation positions. The foundation spacing must not exceed 2.5m, and marks should be made. At the laid out positions, excavate foundations with dimensions no less than 30cm*30cm and a depth no less than 50cm. After self-inspection passes, proceed to the next step.
3. Barbed Wire Post Pre-fabrication and Burial. Barbed wire posts are pre-fabricated off-site according to design drawing requirements. After curing to meet strength requirements, they are transported to the site for burial, and foundation concrete is poured. The burial depth of the posts should be no less than 30cm, and diagonal braces should be used to fix the posts, ensuring they are vertical. When deploying barbed wire, additional braces should be added to the posts at corners for reinforcement. A concrete strength report for the barbed wire posts should be provided upon project handover.
4. Tying Barbed Wire. The foundation curing period should be no less than 7 days. After the foundation strength meets requirements, proceed to tie the barbed wire. The spacing between each layer of barbed wire should be no more than 15cm, with no fewer than 9 layers, and two diagonal barbed wires should be tied between two posts.
